Rethink Priorities (RP) is a research organization conducting rigorous work in neglected areas including animal welfare, climate change, and global health[4]. They are currently seeking expressions of interest from founders to create a new organization focused on highly neglected animals (e.g., insects, shrimp, fish, wild animals) or the intersection of AI and animal welfare, such as AI alignment for animal governance and tech for wild animals[1]. This initiative aims to help the effective animal advocacy movement cost-effectively absorb greater funding in the near future[1].
